Adrian Scarlett

ZIGS is the vision of Mr Adrian Scarlett and Mrs Betty Mhlanga Scarlett. Adrian has worked in education in the UK and Africa for 15 years. He has a Masters Degree in Religious Education and Catechesis, a PGCE (Secondary) and a BA (Hons) Social Science.

Betty Mhlanga Scarlett

Betty has a wealth of experience of working in Sub Saharah Africa. She has worked in both Zambia and in Botswana. She has a background in accounts and has also run her own business. Most recently Betty has been employed by the Royal MENCAP Society in the UK.

Constance Lewanika

Mrs Constance Lewanika is Betty’s sister and the Zambian based face of the ZIGS project.

Constance has worked for the World Food Programme in Sudan, Women in Law and Development (WILDAF) in Zambia and has worked across Africa with with the UN. Constance has a Masters Degree.
